In our latest interview with Love Systems, the company I work for the teaches men to become more confident around women, I go into the plethora of practical ways to become more social everywhere you go.
If you’re a shy guy or an introvert, you can overcome social phobia from a few different angles.
Here are just two core ways:
- Jump right in the flames–For some guys, you have to dive deep through the flames and just get experience talking to people. This is what I did, and it works good for guys who are comfortable talking to people but just don’t make a habit of it.
- Small chunk it–take baby steps and gradually increase the degrees of social pressure and how far you take conversations. If you get uncomfortably nervous talking to strangers you’ll want to use this strategy.
Once you start doing this, you’ll see that you get more respect around work, from friends, and really everywhere you go. Truth be told, people gravitate to others who make an effect in the world, and you can make an effect in the world by socializing. Being able to initiate conversations and lead them are what separate men of influence from the boys who follow, and in our latest interview series (link below), we do just that.
